My names is Khurram Zulfiqar, I come from Pakistan. Last year I decided to further my education in the UK for two main reasons firstly UK education has a well identified value known all over the world. Secondly I will be able to earn a higher salary with a UK qualification when I return back to Pakistan to work.

My family were very happy that I had decided to travel overseas but were sad that I would be far away from them. My father was very happy to know that I am going to studying a good environment and was pleased that I would get the opportunity to meet people from different cultures.

I found a student recruitment consultant and he gave me a choice of colleges but I chose Ayr because of the courses it provides at a low cost when compared to other universities and colleges. The location of the college attracted me the most.

The best thing about studying in the UK is the double benefit of the value of the degree and the better career prospects.

The college itself is very pleasant and it is wonderful to study at Ayr College. The people here are very friendly and the international student/staff relationships are very friendly and caring.

I am studying on the HND in Business Management programme, my favourite subject is customer care and culture. It is helping me to become a good businessman. The better the customer services the better the reputation of the business and the more customers will come.

The college staff help is to find part time job to support our studies. Once I have completed my course I will go on to do my degree at a Scottish University.

I would recommend Ayr College to other people as it is such a good environment and location. The courses are the best!!
